Matsuo, proud of ourselves as the company based on technology ever since our company’s establishment in 1949, have responded to the needs of the customer and the age through manufacturing and selling tantalum capacitors and circuit protection components under our company motto “Quality First”.
We were awarded ISO 14001 certification for Environmental management systems and ISO/TS 16949,
the international standard in quality management system for the automotive manufacture.
We contribute to the society continuously through our product development which quickly responses to customer needs by our global marketing network and organization system.

Matsuo’s History and Business Performance
Our history was challenge to miniaturization, high-quality and high performance of electric components. As a result of that, we began to manufacture and sell film capacitors in 1957, tantalum capacitors in 1959 as Japan’s first company. We have focused on realization of our dream ever since we were listed in the second section on the Osaka stock exchange in 1974.
This result is generated by each one of our employee passion for capacitors.

We manufacture more than 8,000 kinds of products.
This is the result from our challenge to the world’s needs and the effort to develop the products by our original technology and machines.
Tantalum capacitors which are major products in NCC are characterized miniature and long life, and have stable characteristics at the wide range of temperature. Many kinds of chip type tantalum capacitors have been developed to meet high density surface mounting technology for miniaturization and high performance electric equipment. We provide various products such as low profile, miniature, high performance and high reliability type.
Chip type circuit components are electrical safety components used to protect combustion in the electric devices by overcurrent and overvoltage.
We have responded to the needs such as miniaturization of electric components, high density surface mounting. We contribute to improve of the HV and EV equipped the high capacitance battery.
